Questions About an Order?

Green Yard Magazine is an independent review website. We do not sell or ship products, and we do not handle orders, payments, returns or warranties. When you click a link on our site and buy a garden, pool, deck or lawn product, your order is with that store, and only that store can see or change it.

1. Find out which store you bought from

Check your order confirmation email or your bank or card statement. It shows the store’s name, for example Amazon, Walmart or eBay. Then use that store’s own help pages below.

2. Track, return or get help with your order

Amazon

Many garden and outdoor products on Amazon are sold by third-party sellers. You can contact the seller from your Amazon order details.

Walmart

  • Sign in at walmart.com and open Purchase History to track or return an order, or use the Help link at the bottom of any Walmart page.

eBay

On eBay, your order is with the individual seller. You can message the seller from your eBay purchase history.

If you bought directly from a brand’s own website, use that website’s order status or customer service pages, or reply to your order confirmation email. If you bought from another store, look for “Orders”, “Order status” or “Customer service” on that store’s site.

3. Product questions and warranties

Questions about assembly, materials, dimensions, treated lumber, fertilizer or chemical directions, coverage rates, or warranty claims are best answered by the manufacturer. Contact the brand through its official website, and have your receipt and the product’s model number ready. For fertilizers and other lawn and garden chemicals, the label on the package is the legal source for directions and safety warnings.

4. Recalls and safety problems

To check whether a pool, deck, garden or lawn product has been recalled, search the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recalls database. If a recalled product is yours, follow the instructions in the recall notice and contact the company named there. You can report an unsafe product at SaferProducts.gov.

Fertilizers, weed killers, pest sprays and similar chemicals are regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where they make pest-control claims. Read the EPA’s information on pesticides, and report a problem with one through the EPA’s pesticide incident page. If you or a pet may have been exposed to a chemical, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or your doctor.

5. Still not sure where to go?

Send us a message through our Contact page and tell us which product and article you came from. We can’t see, change or cancel orders, but we can tell you which store or brand to contact.
